Embossing
Embossing is a classic decorating method that uses a die to press a logo directly into a
material surface.
Embossing is ideal on leather and vinyl products like compendiums. Logos can be embossed plain as shown in the diagram, or in gold or silver.
Embossed products have a subtle, yet sophisticated appearance. When embossing products made of vinyl or koskin there may be a different finish result compared to a geniune leather surface. As these types of materials do not adhere like leather, when the die is pressed onto these types of surface, it could result in the backing of the koskin or vinyl showing through, giving a patterned result - which some customers like.
